In 2016 a group of initiators took the first steps towards a federation for early dance professionals in France.

PRO D A – fédération française des PROfessionnels en Danse Ancienne was born out of needs to network, and to raise awareness and visibility of the field. It is the first professional early dance network in France, created in 2017 and already highly active.
